Rather than paying the entire program fee at once, you can spread the remaining balance across a series of instalments leading up to your Academy start date. We’ll confirm your individual payment schedule when you secure your place.

Almost everything. We’ve designed the Academy so that the major costs of your time in Tanzania are already included in one program fee — from the moment you leave home to the adventures you’ll have while you’re here.

Your Academy fee includes return international flights from Europe, airport transfers in Tanzania, Academy accommodation, daily meals, your internship placement and associated fees, structured Global Citizenship learning, personal development workshops, Legacy Project support, cultural activities and experiences, weekly Adventure Days, scheduled in-country transport, and your major safari and overland adventures.

Depending on your Academy itinerary, this can include experiences such as Ngorongoro Crater, the Serengeti, Lake Victoria, Kilimanjaro country, the Usambara Mountains, the Swahili Coast and Zanzibar — including relevant transport, accommodation and meals during organised Academy journeys.

You'll also receive one-to-one pre-departure preparation, comprehensive in-country orientation, dedicated placement and learning support, experienced team members on site and 24/7 in-country support throughout your Academy.

For students travelling from Australia, New Zealand, North America or other long-haul destinations, international flights can also be arranged as part of your package, although a flight supplement may apply where fares are significantly higher than our standard European flight allowance.

Potentially. Depending on your nationality, university and circumstances, you may be eligible for university mobility funding, scholarships, educational grants or other international-study funding. Some students also choose to fundraise or combine personal savings with family support. Because funding opportunities vary considerably, we recommend speaking with your university or relevant funding body directly. Our team can provide program documentation where appropriate to support an application.
